Songwriter Snapshot: Paula Fong
Paula Fong has been playing guitar for 13 years, mandolin for 8 years and picked up banjo just last year.
She was first inspired by Americana artists Patti Griffin, Nickelcreek, and Iron and Wine. In recent years, she's found renewed inspiration in the music of Caroline Spence and Palmyra.
She is part of Abby Posner and the Big Fall, the newest Abby Posner project. She also runs an Americana band that plays a Sunday evening church service in the South Bay.
This Spring will mark the release of her first solo EP, produced by Michael Starr.
Paula is also working on creating a new body of work through a songwriting accountability group run by Rainee Blake which will be showcased at one of the Soft Spot Song Writer’s events at Desert 5 Spot in March.
